What is living in our forest and why is it important that we maintain our forest for them?
Research shows that globally only 829 billion tons of CO2 can be extracted from the air this century, as long as the trees get the necessary time to live.
Well prepared land holds great significance in creating a forest. The five steps required in preparing the land involve: Clearing and weeding the field, Pre-irrigation, First ploughing or tilling, Harrowing, and Levelling.
We use a method of planting trees in a line. There are many benefits that promote the use of this method. It is a structured, efficient and functional method that helps us expand our forest and plant thousands of trees more efficiently.
At the start of this year, we planted trees to expand our forest. But our job is not done yet! To make sure these trees grow strong and healthy, we need to take good care of them.
Before planting trees, we carefully consider factors such as soil type, and climate conditions when selecting trees for each location. Each tree species have different benefits for the ecosystem.
Trees are essential for all life on Earth. You too can make a difference. Become a donor of The Green Core and contribute to a world filled with forests!
In the past few years, we have planted more than 6.751 trees in order to reduce CO2 emissions and contribute to a better world. However, what is the actual impact of tree planting?
